Sir,

Adverting to previous correspondence on the subject of the extension of the Tung-Wa Hospital, I have the honour to forward herewith a copy of a letter from Messrs. Leigh and Orange enclosing a plan shewing coloured red a piece of land to the east of the site recently granted by the Government.

You will observe that they have not been able to plan the building according to modern science owing to the limited room available and have recommended to apply to the Government for a further extension of the site above referred to.

The Directors fully concur in the reasons set forth by Messrs. Leigh and Orange in their letter, and
